Ray's Work Blog

Graduated from automotive program at Skyline College. I am currently working at Luscious Garage, a Hybrid Automotive Shop located in downtown San Francisco. My goal is to gain more knowledge of how hybrid vehicles function and diagnose them properly so they can be fixed. Hopefully one day I will go back to Skyline College and teach the students what I have learned.

P0A3F Short Motor A

Customer came in with the Hybrid light and check engine light.  Pulled codes and got P0A3F  Short in Motor A.  Examined the 3 connectors on the MG1 and MG2.  Found bad connector and replaced with used connector and changed out a new sensor.

Replaced with new connector

Completed connector

This how bad the connector was

TP2 Power Steering Module

Customer came in with no power steering.

Power steering module that we replaced

Located right behind the steering wheel.

Easy as removing three bolts no need to rip up the whole dash.
